Rebekah's First Birthday
Rebekah May Belanger turned 1 today! How did she begin her day? By standing up in her crib for the very first time!
Once she was up it was time to pick an outfit!
Apparently mommies make the best playgrounds!
At Queen's Park in New Westminster. What a lovely day to spend at the park.
Since Bekah is so fascinated with animals we decided to take her to the Petting Zoo. She absolutely loved it! The goats were quite taken with her too!
She thought the turkey was pretty cool, although it didn't think much of her.
And the pigs didn't even mind getting poked in the snout!
The baby rabbits were afraid of Bekah's squealing
Time for a picnic!
Hey Mom, that's MY applesauce!
It's all about the carbs!
And of course, what's a birthday without cake?

Sometimes she looks like Dave and sometimes like you Jessica. Did you guys have anyone else to celebrate with or are you still just meeting people? It looks like it was a really fun day.

Happy Birthday Rebekah! Hi Jessica! Hi Dave! It is so good to see your faces. We look forward to seeing more and hearing about your new adventures. We are home from russia for the summer. Feel like driving to calgary? Bet Becka would like another drive:) hee hee. hmm.

Hey Paula! Good to hear from you. It was just the 3 of us for Bekah's birthday. We haven't met too many people yet other than at our church. It was nice and quiet. Next year when she's able to understand things a bit better it would be nice to have a real party ;)

Russia, wow that's cool! Hope you and your family are well. A road trip to Calgary is pretty tempting (once you get through the Rockies). ;)
